Introduction

A long time ago, I ran a small local BBS by the name of Phasis - it was never a big success, more a proof of concept. But it got me involved in the world of communications technologies. When the world wide web began to become more popular, I knew at some stage I would have to create something similar here. Not to compete with other established ministries, but to supplement existing resources through my own unique contribution.

Finding time to develop the site is my biggest challenge, so bear with me. Eventually, I expext to provide a number of resources including:

• A content management system, referencing religious stories in the media - particularly those dealing with non-traditional religious movements, cults, sects, the occult - giving some further comment and insight into the issues involved.
• Links to further resources and assistance for members of new religious movements looking for support as they seek to leave.
• Resources to help train people who wish to help friends involved in potentially abusive spiritual groups.
